**What You Will Be Doing**:
Under general supervision, provides specialized administrative support to an executive, senior manager or department.
- Prepares a variety of complex correspondence, documents and reports.
Coordinates and staffs committees, including high level: prepares and distributes supporting material; takes and distributes minutes; reports status of action items to supervisor.
- Organizes and coordinates meetings and events: prepares and distributes materials; coordinates logistics; makes travel arrangements as necessary.
- Interacts with internal and external customers to provide information and coordinate/resolve routine issues.
- Tracks project timelines, reports status of action items to supervisor.
- Formats, assembles and distributes sensitive materials to appropriate internal and external recipients.
- Receives, screens and routes incoming calls.
- Opens and distributes mail.
- Sets up and maintains multiple file systems.
- Coordinates department and/or individual calendars.
- Assists in compiling, entering and maintaining data and information.
- Performs research and analysis in a specialized area.

Required
- HS diploma
- At least four years providing progressively responsible administrative support.

Preferred
- Experience providing mid-level administrative support.
- Associate’s Degree in business or related field; OR certificate in administrative assisting or related.
- Experience in health care.
- Experience in managed care.

Licensure, Certification, Registration

Required
- Valid California driver license and reliable transportation or, the ability to obtain transportation on demand in the counties served by HPSJ if prohibited from getting a driver license due to a medically documented disability.
