Experienced Maintenance Crew Leader

Priority is a rapidly expanding company that values professional growth and skill development. We are currently seeking an Experienced Maintenance Crew Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the aesthetic and functional integrity of our clients' properties. You will also have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with your team and customers in a supportive work environment that encourages learning and collaboration.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate the work activities of a full crew
- Perform various grounds maintenance tasks such as raking leaves, mowing, pruning, and edging
- Operate light landscape equipment and use hand tools safely
- Conduct job site inspections and complete job site checklists
- Maintain daily timesheets for all crew members
- Ensure the safety of the public and crew during transit and on job sites
- Understand and execute planting procedures
- Ensure all tasks are completed within labor goals and meet company quality standards
- Report any issues to the Field Supervisor
- Participate in safety meetings and model proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Respond to customer requests within contract allowances
- Work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently with field staff and management
- Demonstrate proper horticultural practices and basic knowledge of pests and diseases
- Perform various types of pruning and soil preparation
- Install annual color, plants, and trees
- Perform Winter Service tasks as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Valid driver's license
- 2-3 years of experience in landscape and grounds maintenance
- Ability to operate light landscape equipment and use hand tools safely
- Capability to visually identify at least 10 plants by name
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from Field Supervisor
