PickUp USA Fitness is a fast-growing basketball-focused fitness club. Our unique club provides our members with a full weight-room and cardio area, luxury lounges, and several basketball courts.
We are passionate about delivering an unmatched basketball-focused fitness club experience to our members. To do this, we strive to maintain an immaculately clean club that operates one-of-a-kind basketball related services.
**Job Summary**
As our Maintenance Technician, you set the foundation to our Service Promise of ensuring a clean, friendly, and well-maintained club. Your daily focus is to ensure proper conditioning of all club areas and equipment, which ensures a clean, safe, and outstanding experience for our members.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
- Cleans and dusts walls, mirrors, countertops, glass, and windows
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums floor of all areas of club, including basketball courts, locker rooms, weight area, lounge, cardio, office space, hallways, stairs, etc.
- Cleans and dusts all basketball, weight, and cardio equipment
- Restocks supplies
- Empties clubs' garbage and recycling containers
- Completes daily and weekly cleaning checklist
- Performs special cleaning projects as assigned
- Performs assigned cleaning tasks during the day
- Adhere to all safety rules
- Use all Maintenance Technicianial supplies in accordance to product labels and club manuals
- Adhere to authorized dress code
- Attend all required training sessions and meetings
- Report all facility maintenance issues to AGM and GM
- Report any member complaints to AGM and GM
- Knowledge of brand standards policies and procedures
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Cleaning practices and procedures
- Understand and follow written instructions
- Effectively communicate (verbal and writing skills) in English and/or Spanish
- Work independently in the absence of supervision
- Attention to detail
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of duties
**Preferred Qualifications**
- High School Diploma/GED
- 6 months of Maintenance Technicianial related experience
**Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions**
- While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms
- Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds. Occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds
- Required usage of cleaning chemicals, ladders, and cleaning utensils
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Noise level in the environment is occasionally loud
**Work Schedule**
- Monday - Friday: 5pm - 9:30pm
- Saturday: 5pm - 9:30pm
- Sunday: 5pm - 9:30pm
**Job Type**
- Part-time
**Compensation**
- Starting at $18.00/hour
- Plus, Monthly Bonuses
- Direct deposit twice per month
