We are currently looking for a **Preconstruction Data Assistant **to join our Preconstruction and Estimating team in our El Dorado Hills corporate office.
**Preconstruction Data Assistant **day-to-day:
- Initiates & compiles solicitations for Annual Trade Partner Prequalification (ATPP) program, receives and electronically files responses, routes as appropriate for evaluation and logs qualification status of Trade Partners.
- Maintains Building Connected bidders list templates, adding or removing companies as needed.
- Maintains Building Connected do not use list, adding or removing companies as needed and logging reason in their company profile.
- Maintains historical log of all projects that were not awarded and prepares all received quotes and bid day information for storage in the estimating/preconstruction closet.
- Creates project profiles in Deltek CRM for benchmark design-bid-build projects awarded to others (ATO).
- Creates and maintains new employee profiles in Deltek CRM for hired Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents and Project Estimators.
- Creates and maintains new company profiles in Deltek CRM for Clients, Architects, General Contractors, and Trade Partners.
- Reviews existing project profiles in Deltek CRM for issues, making corrections/additions as needed.
- Generates reports from Deltek CRM for review and existing data audit.
- Prepares (index, organize) and uploads drawings to OnScreen Takeoff (OST).
- Provides assistance during bid day including answering phones, distribution of printed bids and making follow-up phone calls to trade partners.
- Secures bid day lunches, including placing orders with local restaurants, traveling to pick up orders and distributing to the team members participating in bid.
- Compiles all subcontractor quotes, diversity reports, advertisements placed, solicitations, follow-up contact with subcontractors, agency contact, etc. for good faith effort documentation.
- Compiles all subcontractor quotes, circle sheets, dividers, etc. to create a scanned electronic copy and hard copy Estimate Bid Binder for awarded projects and submitted GMP’s.
- Maintains housekeeping of estimating/preconstruction bid room, including clearing area and bid cabinet after bid day activities.

**What we’re looking for**:
- High School diploma (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including follow-up communication with team.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Ability to track and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to represent the company and client entities in a professional manner at all times to ensure company policies and procedures as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Some construction experience preferred.
- Ability to understand plans & specifications preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology preferred.
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat or equivalent)
- Experience working in Building Connected and/or Procore a plus.
- Experience working in OnScreen Takeoff (OST) a plus.
