We are looking for a phenomenal Hospital Director to join our team This person will be responsible for overseeing the business aspects of hospital operations and upholding a sound medical environment in a very large veterinary hospital that includes surgery, neurology, internal medicine, oncology, and emergency. The Director will be working daily in a company that genuinely values local input and decision-making. The Director will support Leaders/Supervisors and the Medical Director to meet goals and foster an excellent service culture and working environment.

**What you will be doing but not limited to**:

- Accountability for the hospital profit & loss statements
- Responsibility to foster a collaborative and positive culture and work environment
- Focus on exceeding client expectations
- Oversight of Leaders/Supervisors and Medical Director who support approximately 50 associates including doctors, technicians, veterinary assistants, and paraprofessional staff
- Develop and grow future leaders
- Oversight and development of onboarding, training, and continuity programs
- Cultivate relationships within the veterinary community
- Support the recruitment of medical professionals

**Who we are looking for**:

- Prior specialty/emergency veterinary management knowledge is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills to develop a solid team and proven success in engaging with veterinary professionals
- Excellent analytical and organization skills, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Prior leadership for a specialty hospital or multi-site operational business
- Proven experience building high performing teams
- Ability to multi-task and deal with high levels of stress in an environment of changing priorities
- Experienced record of generating revenue growth and ability to balance short-term needs and priorities while building for the future

**Special Working Conditions**:

- Flexibility in schedule and hours of availability
- The environment where pets are present
- Periodic travel required
