Mason Health is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician (OB/GYN) to join our team in Shelton, Washington (WA).

Position Details:
• 60% GYN and 40% OB
• 4-day work week
• Can accommodate interest in Uro/Gyn with mentorship available - Physicians operate on larger cases together and would be happy to partner with the incoming physician too
• 15-20 patients per day in the clinic - Never pushed based on quantity of patients seen
• 350 births per year with Midwifery support
• Collaborative team seeking a patient focused partner who seeks a practice that offers autonomy
• Visa sponsorship available

Compensation Details:
• Initial recruitment package of $600K
• Sign-on bonus
• Student loan repayment for federal and private loans
• 7 Weeks of PTO

Job Summary:
The certified board Physician will manage a diverse panel of patients and provides patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services. The person in the Physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic or hospital and providing them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving. In addition, the Physician is responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life. The physician may cover evening and/or weekend telephone calls with other district providers on a rotation basis.

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
  2. Order, perform, and interpret test and analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patient's conditions.
  3. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, or examination results.
  4. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
  5. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  6. Advise patients and community members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention.
  7. Refer patients to medical specialist or other practitioners when necessary.
  8. Coordinate work with nurses, medical assistants, social workers, rehabilitation therapist, pharmacist, psychologists, and other health care providers.
  9. May direct and coordinate activities of nurses, medical assistants, students, therapists, specialist, and other medical staff.
  10. Plan, implement, or administer health programs or standards in hospital, clinic, or community for prevention or treatment of injury or illness.
  11. Prepare government or organizational reports which may include birth, death, and disease statistics, workforce evaluation, or medical status of individuals.
  12. Participate regularly in quality assurance and peer review activities, as well as medical and general staff meetings.
  13. Complete medical records thoroughly, timely and legible within 24 hours of patient visit, labs signed the day received and paperwork signed twice per week.
  14. Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.


Required Education and Experience:
  1. Graduate from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy, as an M.D. or D.O.
  2. 2 (+) years of experience in applicable specialty
  3. Completion of specialty residency training on applicable specialty program.


Required Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations:
  1. Board certified or board eligible by the time of employment.
  2. Licensed in the state of WA
  3. DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
  4. Holds a current D.E.A and Department of Public Safety registration
