We are seeking energetic and dedicated childcare teachers who are ready to make a difference in the lives of our children. We also desire a team strong in faith as our childcare center is a ministry of our church.
The right person will also have project based, play based, and even Reggio Emilia based experience, and a desire to help transform this preschool classroom into something special. This is a very important part of our program
What You'll Do:
- Lead engaging and educational activities in the classroom
- Foster a love for learning through storytelling, music, and art
- Cultivate strong relationships with children and families
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in children
- Create lesson plans to support children's development
- Utilize technology for efficient parent and staff communication
- Assist in the front office when the director is not available
Qualifications:
- Child Development Associates or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required)
- Meet Michigan State qualifications for Lead caregivers
- 2 Years experience working in a preschool classroom
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Clear background check
- Genuine passion for working with children and a positive attitude
