GENERAL FUNCTION

Support the production and assembly of all product lines sold by Stereo Optical. Ensure

adequate inventory levels of finished Stereo Optical products to meet sales demands

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Must be able to master and carry out all tasks involved in building Vision Screener

machines from scratch (down to individual wires, bulbs, screws, control panels etc.) This assembly would require tasks including crimping, soldering, installing screws, wiring and riveting panels with handheld rivet gun to name a few. A good understanding of electrical wiring and connectivity must be mastered, as well as quality control functions being applied to ensure proper operation of vision screening devices once completely built. Must also use compressed air lines and manual presses for bushing insertion for certain sub-assemblies that have to be made on-site.
- Assist with production of vectograms and Stereo slide packages. This requires

maintenance and testing of concentrations of chemical baths used to do image transfer onto films. Associates must also work in a dark room environment for some processes to develop films for use in projector slide development. Raw materials must be cut and assembled to create unique slides, with many of these slides being loaded in specialized sequences by model number to ensure customized vision screener units are produced.
- Assist with production flows to ensure proper allocations of various Stereo Optical

products are produced to meet demand.
- Ensure that work environment is maintained and kept in proper operating condition,

including maintenance and cleaning schedules.
- Assess raw materials and inventory levels and notify supervisor when inventory is low.Other duties as assigned by manager.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of high school education required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
- instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Employee is required to lift equipment with an approximate weight of

25 pounds. Tasks can be repetitive and require working with very small parts, so good handeye coordination and ability to concentrate on the task at hand is crucial.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Any trade school competencies or experience in working with electronics or assembly of

mechanical devices.
