SQL Database Administrator

**Title: SQL DBA**
**Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite - Open for relocation )**

**Good SQL DBA skills, having some experience of doing TDE data base encryption & automations in the DBA space.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and maintain SQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Implement encryption protocols to ensure data security and compliance.
- Perform database design and optimization for efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Monitor database performance and conduct performance tuning as needed.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in database administration.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in managing databases such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience in database administration, including performance tuning and high availability
- Familiarity with ETL processes and database design
- Strong scripting skills in Linux, Bash, and Shell Scripting
- Knowledge of PL/SQL and SSIS
- Ability to work with encryption technologies and various database systems like PostgreSQL and DB2

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
