Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities, including animal handling, laboratory work, and assisting with surgical procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the veterinarian
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
- Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery progress
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including preventative medicine, nutrition and exercise
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic

**Experience**:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:

- Previous experience working as a Veterinary Technician or similar role
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and aseptic technique
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and possible medication administration
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Compassion and empathy towards animals of all types and their owners
- Strong problem-solving skills
