Position Overview

1st Pet Veterinary Centers, a distinguished veterinary practice in Arizona, is seeking a dedicated full-time technician to enhance our Internal Medicine Team. Our practice is unique as we are the only 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED veterinary facility in the nation, fostering a culture of open-book management that empowers our employee-owners to thrive.

Our facilities are recognized for being the only FEAR FREE certified practice in Arizona and are also certified Cat Friendly. We pride ourselves on our active Veterinary Social Worker program, which supports both our staff and clients. Additionally, we are AAHA Accredited and have a dedicated training program for technicians and veterinary assistants, focusing on the development of technical skills and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient appointments and procedures.
  • Perform phlebotomy and advanced diagnostic imaging.
  • Administer chemotherapy and provide anesthetic services for internal medicine procedures, including CT and endoscopy.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred credentials: CVT, LVT, RVT, or VTS in Internal Medicine or Diagnostic Imaging.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with a preference for prior experience in an Internal Medicine Department.
  • Willingness to travel between our locations, collaborating closely with our Board Certified Internists.
  • Availability for day shifts.
