**Artist Assistant and Digital Content Creator - Part Time**
**About the Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented and creative individual to join our team as an Artist Assistant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support to the artist, both in the studio and at various events. You will create content for various digital platforms and provide administrative assistance to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
**This is a hybrid position.** You will be expected to be onsite 1-2 days a week for content creation and work from home 1-2 days a week on administrative needs.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Event Support**: Set up and breakdown artist's booth at art shows, galleries, and other events. Ensure a professional and engaging presentation of artwork.
- **Client Interaction**: Be a welcoming and informative presence at events, interacting with potential clients, answering questions about the artist's work and collecting contact information for follow-up outreach.
- **Art Handling & Delivery**: Carefully transport artwork to galleries, framers, and prospective clients. Maintain accurate records and ensure the safe handling of all pieces.
- **Content Creation**:Develop engaging content for social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok) aligned with brand and target audience.
- **Digital Support**: Update the artist's website and digital files with new work and relevant information.
- **Print Support**: Design and develop marketing collateral materials.
- **Perform other administrative duties as assigned**
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Social Media or as an Administrative Assistant
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
- Experience creating high-quality visual content (photos, videos) using editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
