**We’re searching for a knowledgeable, engaging and motivated teacher to teach both English Language Arts and Social Studies/History 3rd-6th grades.**

**Who You Are**
- You have teaching experience and Educator License for grades 1st-5th or able to obtain one
- You have ability and willingness to obtain an ESL or SEI license during the school year (having the licenses already is a great plus)
- You have experience in following a school curriculum and enhancing it with your ideas.
- You challenge and engage students and keep discipline in a friendly way.
- You’re appreciate the environment that a small, independent school offers to students for learning and personal growth.

**What You’ll Do**
- Teach Language Arts and Social Studies to 3rd-6th grades.
- Supervise afterschool homework from 3 pm to 5 pm. (Monday-Thursday)
- Develop your own syllabus based on the school curriculum and expectations.
- Provide clear communication to parents on requirements and student progress.
- Participate in all required school professional development activities and school-wide events.
- Provide substitute coverage when needed.
- Perform lunch and recess duty for your assigned class/grade level.

**Salary Range**:
About 30-40 hours per week. (11 am - 5 pm)

$30-$35 per hour, commensurate with experience. Our school also offers PTO, a 401K, and medical insurance.
