- Job Description
-Lead the creation and maintenance of robust processes, documentation, and routines to establish a safe and quality system of work within the workshop.
Drive compliance initiatives while creating a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality standards and mitigate risks, promoting optimal performance and regulatory alignment.
Create and manage the implementation of a safety & Quality assurance program for the workshop.
Coordinates internal and external audits within the workshop environment to ensure conformance to procedures and processes. Hold employees/contractors accountable while maintaining a key working relationship and actively implement improvements to address issues.
Work with Safety & Quality departments to ensure compliance with Process verifications, BPMS, HSES, and Quality standards/requirements where such processes exist.
Development, implementation, and maintenance of the workshop management system and process documentation to support and enable safe and quality systems of work including control of contractors
Develop and manage compliance to workshop competency programs for employees to enable safe & quality execution of tasks.
Implement a clear and consistent method of highlighting the risk of activities and manage the continuous improvement projects to design out the risk and increase operational readiness (Risk Profiling)

- Ability to recognize and focus on gaps in People, Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost
- Ability to develop an efficient team that is responsive to production requirements and adaptable to new products
- Good communication and listening skills and be open to feedback.
- Objective setting and experience in monitoring performance and gap closure activities.
- Skills
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or Management and leadership
- OSHA 30-Hour or IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- LEAN/Continuous Improvement concepts, principles and practices
- Analytical skills enabling data to be sorted (such as Pareto), results reviewed, and conclusions drawn
- Action-orientated use of available data to make targeted, intentional improvements to our systems of work
- Management and leadership qualification
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365 tools and multiple company platforms.
- SAP & PowerBI experience
- ERT/First Aid training
