We are actively recruiting an experienced **Accounts Payable Clerk **to be part of the team at our **C**o**rporate Office** in **North Bergen, NJ**
**Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities**
- Responsible for inputting invoices on a daily basis
- Makes payments of daily and monthly invoices in a timely manner
- Reconciles accounts payable statements prior to payment
- Reconciles manufacturer monthly statements/ If credit responsible for collecting
- Responsible for issuing of daily on demand checks
- Responsible for maintenance of assigned schedules (list will be supplied)
- Maintains accurate vendor check list and accrues for any missing invoices
- Reconcile and Maintain General ledger accounts
**Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications**
- Individuals employed in this position must be able to understand accounting principles including debits and credits
- CDK & QuickBooks experience is preferred**:
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Individuals employed in this position must be able to read, and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence
- Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
- Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
- Individuals employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
