**The Role: GENERAL MANAGER - RIVERVIEW INN & SUITES**

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Leadership and Team Management**: Provide strong leadership to the hotel team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Recruit, train, and mentor staff to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- **Guest Experience**: Champion a guest-centric culture, ensuring that all team members are dedicated to delivering outstanding service. Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, enhancing overall guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- **Revenue Management**: Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to maximize room occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), and revenue per available room (RevPAR). Monitor market trends and adjust pricing and distribution strategies accordingly.
- **Operations Oversight**: Oversee daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments. Ensure efficient and smooth operations, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
- **Financial Management**: Prepare and manage the hotel's budget, forecasting, and financial performance. Analyze financial statements and reports to identify opportunities for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- **Sales and Marketing**: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Drive occupancy and revenue through targeted marketing campaigns, partnerships, and promotional activities.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain high levels of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
- **Community Engagement**: Actively participate in local community and industry organizations. Build strong relationships with local businesses, tourism boards, and key stakeholders to enhance the hotel's reputation and visibility.

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, with a proven track record of driving revenue and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a similar property is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or training in hospitality management is a plus.
- 2 years + of experience in hotel operations management, experience in Choice ADVANTAGE is a plus
