Function Setup Associate

**SUMMARY**:Fully stages all necessary catering equipment and supplies needed for a complete set up of a function.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the thorough and accurate set-up of all catered events
- Ability to carefully follow direction with care to all details and department standards paying special attention to
- Banquet Event Orders and Pull Sheets to ensure accuracy of all event set ups.
- Ability to meet all service standards including, but not limited to, tray carrying, wine service, table service and buffet service
- Thoroughly break-down and clean up all catering equipment and supplies following events, ensuring proper care and storage of all equipment, supplies, food and beverage
- Complete tasks in a variety of environment as assigned by management to include indoor and outdoor catering throughout the property
- Communicate any and all special requests and needs to management that are expressed by client during set up time
- Special projects and assignments as business dictate.
**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Ability to work independently and carefully follow written and verbal direction
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a high paced environment
- Professional and discrete demeanor
- Ability to work as a team member in a diverse environment
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, written and verbal
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to repeatedly move a minimum of 75 pounds
- 18 Years of age or older
- Flexible schedule is required as early morning, late evenings, nights, weekends and holidays may be required
- Ability to fully commit to all home football games and other full stadium events
- 2 years' experience in high volume catering or full service dining
- Knowledge of food service and table standards
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- The noise level is usually loud
- Fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
