We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and loves to teach. You will be expected to have a great love and patience for children, be familiar with the standards of education, and be able to supervise children while they are exploring, playing, and learning. An excellent teacher must also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children.

**Duties/Responsibilities**
- Observe students while they are playing and engaged in activities
- Encourage children to use their imagination and interact with the world
- Store educational materials in a safe place and help maintain organization
- Follow instructions of parents/caregivers and provide information on educational progress
- Report to parents on a regular basis via parent communication app
- Collaborate with other teachers on the team (e.g. create fun learning stations)
- Plan activities based on the level of the child
- Keep a positive relationship with students' families
- Provide appropriate and consistent supervision

**Skills**
- Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher or relevant position in a childcare facility or other educational setting (required)
- Understanding of child development methods and best practices
- Excellent knowledge of safety and sanitation guidelines for a preschool (required)
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Patient, happy demeanor, welcoming, friendly, cooperative, organized, creative, practical, and reliable

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
