Front Office Assistant- Speech Therapy Clinic

**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check in patients, collect copays and notify clinicians of their arrival
- Answer and return phone calls
- Contact insurance companies to confirm eligibility, copays, deductible status, and benefits
- Schedule therapy appointments and manage therapists’ schedules
- Maintain a clean and organized front and back office area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times
- Perform administrative tasks such scanning documents, filing, ordering materials, and supplies, assisting therapists with making materials for therapy, etc.
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office is HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of medical receptionist duties is a plus
- Bilingual -Spanish highly desired
- Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and fax machines
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
