Siegwerk USA in **Elk Grove Village, IL **is looking for an** InHouse Ink Technician.** This position will perform a broad range of technical tasks pertaining to daily ink room management and operation under the direction of the Ink Room Manager.

**12 Hour Shifts**

**Responsibilities**
- Assists customer with ink room operations.
- Coordinates job set up for presses.
- Formulates and blends inks as required.
- Maintains inventory control standards.
- Organizes inks for press runs.
- Returns inks from press to appropriate area.
- Performs press-side color matching.
- Operates color computer.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with solvent ink is preferred.
- Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films preferred.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communications skills, and demonstrated initiative in problem solving/troubleshooting required.
- Knowledge of basic computer operating and a good working knowledge of IMS.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence
