**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
The _Director of Graduate Studies_ oversees and manages all aspects of the Master’s in Sacred Theology, Doctor of Ministry, and PhD in Public Theology & Witness graduate programs, ensuring they meet the institution’s academic standards and align with its theological mission. This position involves curriculum development, faculty coordination, student advising, and administrative responsibilities. The _Director of Graduate Studies_, under the direction of the _Dean of Students_, works closely with faculty, staff, and students to foster an environment conducive to advanced theological education and spiritual growth.
- Support the Registrar/Dean’s Office in finding appropriate advisors for advanced degree students.
- Support advisors in keeping track of a student’s progress.
- Work with the _Dean of Students, Registrar, _Area Chairs_, Director of Student Affairs and Retention_, and _PhD Program Director_ to set the graduate course schedules and invite adjunct instructors as necessary.
- Administer Graduate Fellowships following the established policy.
- Work with the Financial Aid Office to ensure proper distribution of PhD student scholarships, fellowships, and stipends.
- Coordinate PhD student teaching opportunities in consultation with advisors, the _PhD Program Director_, the _Dean of Students_, and Area Chairs.
- Coordinate externship sites for PhD students, including site evaluations, in consultation with the _PhD Program Director_ and senior fellows.
- Oversee prospectus process and exam procedures for PhD students.
- Assist in coordination of degree defenses.
- Carry out program assessment
- Work with _PhD Program Director_ and _Registrar_ to keep program manuals and forms up to date.
- When designated Administrative Faculty Status by the _President_, attend faculty meetings and serve on committees for the duration of the appointment.
- Attend and assist with commencement duties.
- Teach two courses per year, at least one that is a degree conferring course intended for graduate students.
- Serve as an advisor to students and supervise DMin projects when appropriate based on area of specialization.
- Work with the _Registrar_ in supporting international students in the advanced degree programs.
- All other duties as assigned.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
