**SUMMARY**
Directs and supervises a group composed of company employees and contract I&E personnel in the development of construction packages for all Capital and Expense Projects.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
May include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Supervises I/E engineers, designers and specialists in the Project Engineering Department.
- Assigns work to in-house I&E Project Managers/Engineers and I& Designers.
- Tracks and reports design package progress (% complete, forecasted completion dates, etc.) to Project Managers/Engineers and Department manager on a bi-weekly (or monthly) basis.
- Coordinates drawing requests (loop sheets, one-lines, etc.) and approval package reviews with the I&C Department.
- Meets weekly with construction coordinators to resolve outstanding action items, changes, RFIs, etc.
- Initiates and obtains approval for any field variances associated with requested changes.
- Works as a team with the Project managers/Engineers and production personnel on constructability reviews and execution plans.
- Reviews or assigns personnel to review Mechanical/Piping approval and construction packages for overall project scope consistency.
- Works with construction coordinators to ensure project installations are in accordance with construction packages.
- Reviews contractors turnover packages for compliance with quality standards, compliance with construction packages and ensures all appropriate "as-builts" are included.
- Ensures all "as-builts" red-lines are incorporated in drawings and MOCs are completed/approved.
- Occasional overtime work, including weekends, to supervise contractors for unexpected outages and planned turnarounds.
- Works with Project Managers/Engineers, Unit Managers and Process Engineers on annual CapEx budget.
- Participates in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs).
- Participates in performance reviews for all hourly and salaried personnel under his/her supervision.
- Performs duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of all personnel on, site. Whenever appropriate, promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental incidents or issues to management so the situation can be corrected. Attend Monthly Safety Meetings to help prevent off site and job accidents.

**ADDITIONAL DUTIES**

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- A current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required.
- B.S degree in Engineering (Instrument/Controls or Electrical preferred).
- Eight years maintenance experience in plant maintenance with five years in a supervisory capacity or five years project management experience.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10

pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
The employee must be able to work in a normal factory environment, including enclosed spaces and exposure to various hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, flame retardant clothing, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required.
