Foreman-shop Manager

The Shop Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the repair shop, shop vehicles and equipment. Responds to equipment needing repair both on project sites and in the office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage daily activities of both on premises and mobile mechanics.
- Set work schedule for all mechanics.
- Create and reviews all work orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Dispatches mechanics to equipment as needed.
- Track maintenance issues of all equipment.
- Responsible for uptime of all equipment.
- Helps maintain safety of the shop, yard, and team.
- Collect weekly Trip Reports from Truck Drivers
- Verify vehicles are up to date on Inspections, emissions, and current registrations.
- Submit monthly reports to JJ Keller for fuel and mileage reporting of Dump Trucks, and Lowboys

Qualifications:

- 3 years of shop management or equivalent.
- 10 years of mechanic experience on heavy machinery.
- Proficient in the use of a computer and computer software such as:

- Microsoft Office
- Qualified individual will be able to communicate both verbally as well as written form.

Certifications:

- ASE Certified
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
