Position Overview:
Our team continues to grow, and we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Foreman to join our team. The Mechanical Foreman plays a key role in overseeing the daily operations of piping projects, from planning to execution. You will manage teams, delegate tasks, ensure client expectations are met, and ensure that deadlines are adhered to. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in piping and HVAC systems to make a significant impact on our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of various piping systems, including refrigerant piping, split systems, air handlers, and more.
  • Manage and direct on-site personnel, including journeymen and apprentices, ensuring efficient and high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects stay on track.
  • Mentor and coach employees, fostering a culture of growth and development within your team.
  • Review and interpret mechanical drawings to ensure accurate execution of project plans.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet client expectations and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Piping Foreman in commercial HVAC construction, including design, construction, budgeting, and management.
  • Extensive experience with various types of piping systems; expertise in hydronics is highly desirable.
  • OSHA 10 certification required.
  • Proven experience in overseeing and managing job site personnel, including the ability to mentor and coach journeymen and apprentices.
  • Strong familiarity with mechanical drawings and commercial construction projects.
  • Foundational understanding of building systems and their integration with HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical School, Trade School, or Apprenticeship Program Certifications are a plus.
