**Service Technician / Engineer Responsibilities/ Job Requirements**:
Dedicated support role with working on world-class CNC machines (Liechti technology) with one of the premier aerospace companies in the world.
Liechti is the worldwide market leader for five -axis airfoil machining solutions, to the turbine industry in aerospace and power generation.
Work to be performed out of one location in Middletown, Connecticut.
Training: each service technician will undergo approximately 8 weeks of training. There will also be shadowing sessions with more senior technicians.
Utilizing machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and OEM resources to research machine issues
- Ensuring proper documentation is completed and submitted to office and customer regarding status of machine issues, repairs, and installation
- Promoting and performing preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment and conducting
- Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of machine tool industry
- Perform maintenance and repair of precision multi-axis milling machines.
- Troubleshoot and correct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system problems of a high degree of complexity.
- Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is being provided to the customer.
- Accurately complete all reports in a timely manner as per service department procedures.
- Maintain regular contact with the Customer Support Center (CSC) and Regional Service Manager (RSM) as needed to perform job duties.
- Proficient in Mechanical, Electrical (AC/DC), Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Systems.
- Proficient in the use of Multimeters and Computer Systems.
- Proficient in the use of Dial Indicators, Micrometers, Calipers, and Gage Bars.
- Able to climb ladders and to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
**Compensation**: $33 to $50/HR depending on experience.
**Schedule**: 4, 10 hour days. Mon-Thurs. 7:30A to 6P with a 30 minute unpaid break for lunch. During training could potentially do Mon-Fri doing 8 hours per day to see more activity.
**Benefits**:
Competitive salary based on knowledge and experience, PTO, 401K with Safe Harbor 3% contributed by employer, profit sharing, paid business expenses, laptop, health and dental insurance.
**Status**:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card).
Pay: $33.00 - $50.00 per hour
