Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Homeowner Insurance Agent to join our team. As a Homeowner Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, selling insurance policies, and assisting clients with their insurance needs. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong sales skills and a passion for helping others.

**RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following.
- First contact for our customers answering billing questions, conducting homeowners policy reviews, and providing recommendations.
- Work with customers to avoid cancellations and taking timely payments.
- Interviews prospective clients to obtain data about their insurance needs, the physical condition of the property to be insured, and to discuss any existing coverage.
- Selects a homeowner carrier that offers the type of coverage requested by new and current clients to underwrite the policy
- Calculates premiums, delivers rates, and establishes payment methods as well as successfully manages and overcomes prospect objections, obstacles, and stalls.
- Ensures that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary inspections, alarm certificates, letters of experience, the completion of appropriate forms and confirmation of payments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Learn, promote, and effectively sell company products using established sales techniques, with uncompromising integrity.

**EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR SKILLS REQUIRED**
- An effective communicator who understands the importance of listening and being empathetic.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
- Willingness to learn new skills and ability to adjust to changes quickly.
- Open to feedback to support your performance and development.
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate technical information.
- Must be fluent in English with bilingual preferred.
- Solid computer and multi-tasking skills
- Property & Casualty Insurance License
- Good comprehension of insurance plans including property, umbrella, and ID theft
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships.
