Treasurer's Office, Treasury Collections Team

**Position Information**:
**Specific duties include**:

- Review and manage the productivity, efficiency and quality of the Collection Team’s work based on daily/weekly reports;
- Evaluate the performance of team members and provide training/coaching as needed;
- Participate in hiring decisions and conduct training for staff;
- Handle agency collections and monthly reporting for all County agencies that work with the Treasurer’s Office;
- Initiate changes that will improve customer service or system efficiencies and participate in testing solutions; and
- Carry out all duties in a professional manner consistent with the expectations of a Treasurer’s Office supervisor.

**Selection Criteria**:
**Minimum**:Some college in public administration, business administration, or a field directly related to area of assignment, plus considerable experience in public administration; experience in programs similar to those in the Treasurer’s Office is preferred.

**Substitution**: Additional education may be substituted for experience, and additional experience may be substituted for education.

**Desirables**:Preference** **may be given to applicants with one or more of the following:

- Experience working directly with the public explaining policies, regulations and/or tax regulations to customers;
- Experience managing/coordinating annual performance evaluations;
- Substantial experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word); and
- Experience using a wide range of software programs in a technology-driven environment.

**Work Hours**:8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is not a remote opportunity. Employees are expected to be in the office full time.

The pay ranges listed above are effective June 30, 2024.

The examination process for this position may include: (1) training and experience evaluation; (2) written and oral examination; (3) personal interview; (4) performance test/work sample; and/or (5) physical examination.
