- The Value Stream Superintendent, a member of the Value Stream Leadership Team, supports the Value Stream (Mobile, Modular and/or Equipment), Production Team, and the Value Stream Manager to deliver our Facilities (Mobile and Modular) and Equipment products on Time and on Budget. He / She will collaborate with leaders across the organization to coordinate projects, drive processes and execute the Research and Development objectives in accordance with operational and business expectations. Driving a continuous improvement culture, the Superintendent creates and champions a lean environment and mindset. Our unique product mix will challenge the Superintendent to flex between standard and custom product manufacturing. Cross functional teamwork is a must_
- This role will assist the Value Stream Leadership Team (VSLT) to develop the Value Stream strategic objectives in support of the Operational Objectives and Vivid Vision, translating them into tactical objectives for the Production team. This includes proactive monitoring and development of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) and removing obstacles. He / She must develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the Value Stream, resulting in a positive experience for the Client and a successfully achieving all business objectives. The Value Stream Superintendent will serve to mentor and guide their direct reports in the areas Operational Excellence, Project Management, Leadership and Personal Development._

Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- _Drives a Safety-First Environment and a culture of accountability and excellence for their direct reports_
- _Achieves the Value Stream’s annual financial and operational objectives._
- _Collaborates with the Value Stream Manager to track and coordinate resources for key projects, processes, and continuous improvement opportunities to achieve targets, meeting/exceeding client and business expectations._
- _Manages performance using visual management and maintaining KPIs, accountability/corrective actions and other pertinent information_ _
- _Routinely engages with employees, facilitate/assist in root cause problem-solving for safety, people, quality, delivery and cost (SPQDC), gathering information and input from Project Managers, Supervisors, support staff, and operators to make decisions_
- _Supports the teams closest to the work through direct engagement, coaching and mentoring. _
- _Ensures the team’s understanding of levers the Value Stream teams can pull to improve profitability._
- _Leads and drives Lean Manufacturing initiatives, recommending strategies and opportunities to drive higher efficiencies, remove waste, and improve quality_
- _Establishes all the potential risks in the objectives within the Value Stream and prepare adequate mitigation procedures._
- _Maintains open, effective lines of communications with Leadership and other key stakeholders. _
- _Utilizes key systems and tools to manage data, drive performance and solve problems (i.e. ERP, Salesforce, Project Management software, etc.)_

Ideal qualifications for the Value Stream Superintendent:

- _Servant leader focused on creating excellent high functioning teams_
- _5+ years’ experience successfully executing the Essential duties in Operations or Project Management_
- _Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering or other related technical degrees_
- _MBA, PMP and/or Lean Certifications_
- Demonstrated leadership in leading operations, project management or continuous improvement programs
- _Demonstrated knowledge of professional communications, problem solving, strategic reasoning, teamwork, change management, business acumen and business ethics_
