**Engine Power, Inc**. has a **Dealer Development Specialist **position available that reports to the Product Support Manager.
- (Regional Product Support Development Specialist is our internal title for this role)_

The **Dealer Development Specialist** is responsible for the growth, relationship building and maintenance, and training of various customer types in the assigned territory of the Northeast section of the country, from Maine to Maryland. Some expectations of this position include:

- Identify customer prospects, establish new customer relationships, and maintain existing customer relationships with the following customer types in assigned region: Engine dealers supporting specified business partner’s (Kubota Engine America, JCB) engines, as well as dealers and rental stores that sell/rent equipment powered by these engines and entities that participate within the SmartEquip system
- Train, or facilitate training, of all above customer types (to the appropriate level) related to: engines, generators, and parts; Engine Power’s business processes and procedures; warranty processes & procedures, service diagnostics and repair knowledge, service level expectations, processes and procedures of Engine Power and business partners
- Support rebuild, replacement, and repower engine sales and ensure emissions compliance at both Engine Power and customer
- Assist Engine Power management to design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Product Support Team
- Meet Engine Power’s KPI expectations and business partner KPI expectations
- Engine Power’s KPI’s will include, but are not limited to: gross margin derived from the sale of parts, engines, generators, and related materials/components
- Assist with marketing planning and campaigns related to all customer types and business partner products
- Maintain personal training level (as established by direct report) related to all business partner’s products, process and procedures, including online and instructor lead training

**Education & Training**

Diesel/Gasoline engine related post high school education preferred; dealership or dealer program experience a plus.

**Work Experience Requirements**

5+ years of experience with engines or off-road equipment is a plus; work experience within a dealer group or familiarity with dealer programs is highly desired. Sales and/or customer service experience desired.

**Travel Requirements**

Frequent travel within assigned region - 50%

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
