**Who We Are**:
**About the Role**:
We seek a VP, Finance to lead our Finance Department. This position oversees all major financial operations for the organizations, ensuring that resource planning and management activities align with operational and programmatic priorities. The VP also oversees the company's financial records and projects future financial plans and investments to achieve the organization's financial goals.

This position reports to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) and leads a team of 4-6 staff members. It is not part of the collective bargaining unit.

**What you will do**:

- Develop, revise, implement, maintain, and oversee all of the organizations’ financial policies and procedures (including but not limited to financial statements, budgets, annual audits, tax, lobby and other corporate reporting, compliance requirements, and investment policies).
- Effectively communicate and present critical financial matters to the President and senior leadership team.
- Serve as liaison between external auditors, the organizations, and the audit committees of the board of directors. Make presentation of financial reports at quarterly board meetings as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's investment policy and coordinate with investment advisors to monitor investment performance monthly.
- Serve as financial and budgetary liaison between department leaders, program staff, and funders. Oversee and lead the annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the EVP & COO and department leaders.
- Administer and review all financial plans and budgets; prepare mid-year financial forecasts; monitor progress and changes; and keep senior leadership team abreast of the organizations’ financial status.
- Serve as a trustee of the 401K retirement plan.
- Manage the organizations’ cash flow, financial analyses, information and reporting, budget development and monitoring, investments, and capital purchases. Oversee financial transactions, including cash flow and investment decisions.
- Review and implement all necessary business policies, financial operations, and accounting practices.
- Coordinate with the VP, Development to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial reporting to donors and funders.
- Perform other duties as necessary and related.

**What you will bring**:

- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance in a non-profit environment and at least two years of experience managing budgets.
- Undergraduate Business, Management, Accounting, or Finance degree is required. An MBA, MPA, or CPA is preferred.
- A demonstrated exceptional personal and communication skills that indicate an ability to communicate and to work effectively with a wide range of people.
- Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks, concurrently being thorough and comprehensive. Must have initiative, good judgment, and foresight.
- Strong budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial analysis skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with all staff.
- Experience in special projects and/or grant reporting and budget development.

**Salary Range **- $199,120 - $221,244, dependent on years of related experience.

**Office Re-opening Statement**
