**Duties**:

- Conduct research and analysis of Russian and European foreign military forces, operations, capabilities, doctrine, tactics, and trends to support all source intelligence and threat production.
- Serve as a recognized authority within assigned Russian and European geographical and functional areas, analyze intelligence information to assess developments, trends, and threat implications.
- Provide professional advice on techniques and innovative methods employed in Russian and European threat analysis and projection.
- Stay informed of Russian and European military, political-military, technical, and other developments within assigned areas to conduct valid threat assessments.
- Ensure the finished intelligence product is consistent with applicable NGIC and Army intelligence positions and policies.
- Present and defend positions effectively within the intelligence, planning, and operational communities.

**Requirements**:
**Conditions of Employment**:

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a single-scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel constitutes less than 25% of the work schedule.

Specialized experience is defined as experience analyzing all-source intelligence information to conduct threat assessments within assigned geographical or functional areas. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-12).
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.
- You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
- All-Source Intelligence Analysis
- General Military Intelligence (GMI) Analysis
- Partnering
