**Hiring Range: $17.60 - $22.88**

The Instructional Support Specialist (ISS) for the nursing program builds relationships with faculty, staff, deans, students, and the general public in an effort to provide proactive support for the achievement of the department, divisional, and organizational goals.
The following are examples of typical duties that may be assigned to positions in this job
family. It does not imply that all positions within the job family perform all of the duties listed,
nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.
- Coordinates schedule building process for department/division.
- Administrative support for Division working with faculty, staff and students with activities related to instructional programs.
- Payroll processing for part-time employees and adjunct faculty.
- Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible
- Prepares agendas, notices, and minutes for meetings.
- Acts as custodian of department/division documents and records as well as assisting with paperwork/hiring of adjunct teachers.
- Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents such as the division's budget forms and expenditure information.
- Acts as purchasing liaison.
- Makes travel arrangements for supervisor and/or other staff.
- Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.
- May perform departmental website maintenance.

Other duties specific to the nursing program on the Verde campus include:

- Coordinating and scheduling admission testing for new applicants
- Coordinating and scheduling new student orientation and pre-nursing workshops
- Supporting the student nurses association (SNA)
- Working closely with advising, and workforce development to collect graduate job placement data, Concurrent Enrollment Partner (CEP) programs, and Institutional Effectiveness and Research (IER) for program completion and National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) success data.
- Collecting, maintaining, and electronically files student documentation for compliance and reviews for accuracy.
- Works collaboratively with Prescott Nursing ISS to ensure seamless operations of the nursing program.

**Minimum Expectations & Requirements**:

- Associates degree OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job
- Two years of increasingly responsible office experience OR equivalent combination of education/experience in office records and communications or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work with confidential/sensitive information.
- Attention to detail on division paperwork (proofreading, problem-solving)
- Knowledge of division procedures
- Regular attendance is an essential job function as it demonstrates dependability towards the performance of job duties
- Ability to take initiative and work with mínimal supervision.
- Must demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize special projects with routine assignments and adapt to change in a busy office.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers and collaborate and work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work with and produce detailed information and numeric data for reports.

**Preferred Skills & Abilities**:

- Bachelor's degree
- Work experience in a community college/higher education work environment.
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn and accept constructive feedback.
