Job Summary

The Physical Therapist PRN will assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength in patients suffering from disease or injury. This role requires a cost-conscious, quality-focused, and customer-oriented approach, with compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, plans of care, goals, and discharge plans for patients.
  • Establish realistic discharge plans incorporating patient and/or family member goals.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans, select appropriate treatment activities, and revise goals/plans of care with patient/family input.
  • Provide ongoing patient/family education and training, discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals to community resources as appropriate.
  • Act as a referral source for staff, families, physicians on services and equipment related to rehabilitation services.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Effective communication skills, customer service focus, team orientation, and basic computer skills.
