Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II, and under the direct supervision of a Legal Support Supervisor I, the incumbent will act as the Receptionist for the Los Angeles office of the Legal Division. Will serve as a point of contact for the public, internal, and external clients. Will scan documents, log incoming invoices for payment and general data entry of legal documents and delivery tracking purposes.
- The Caltrans Legal Division is comprised of five offices statewide including its headquarters office near the State Capitol in Sacramento and branches in Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego and Fresno.

While at their base of operation, employees will work in a climate-controlled office under artificial light. However, due to periodic problems with the heating and air conditioning, the building temperature may fluctuate.
