**Summary**:
Manages daily staff activities for the Telecommunications Department.
**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with all hospital departments as necessary as it relates to hospital alerts for continuous process improvement.Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.Monitors vendor relationships and contracts. Determines justification needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.Participate in emergency management meetings/committees to ensure all pertinent information is shared and updated accordingly.Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Performs and oversee scheduling, recruitment and payroll. Ensures compliance with budget.Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs. Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
