Albany Management is seeking a full time year-round **Assistant Superintendent Grounds** for one of our apartment communities in Albany.

Applicant must have extensive experience and landscaping skills that must include both the planning and the performance of the following:

- Pruning of all varieties of trees and plants
- Felling trees
- Fertilizing, grassing, mulching, mowing
- Plant bed care
- Snow plowing
- Pesticide license a plus
- Small backhoe operation for grading, ditching, drain pipe
- Equipment repair

General maintenance skills are required for working over the winter months and for site requirements throughout the year. These skills embrace electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry on a "maintenance person" level of expertise.
- Supervision and training of 3-5 staff
- Computer literate - outlook and word a minimum
- This position reports to the site Superintendent

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
