Key Responsibilities:

2. Diagnostic Learning: Take advantage of opportunities to learn diagnostic techniques for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Shadow experienced technicians as they troubleshoot issues, gaining valuable insights into maintaining uptime and minimizing disruptions.

3. Embrace Preventative Maintenance: Learn about preventative maintenance practices and contribute to efforts to prevent breakdowns and ensure peak performance. Assist with regular inspections and maintenance tasks, gradually taking on more responsibilities as you gain experience.

4. Build Technical Knowledge: Absorb knowledge about truck and heavy equipment systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and more. Take advantage of training opportunities and on-the-job learning to develop a strong foundation for your future career.

Qualifications:

- Some experience or coursework in automotive, mechanical, or related fields preferred.
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and a willingness to learn.
- Enthusiasm for trucks and heavy equipment, with a desire to build a career in maintenance and service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Ability to take direction and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.91 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
