**What You'll Do**:
As the Operations Associate, you will be responsible for general janitorial duties, including keeping the building clean and in good condition. You will also assist the warehouse and assembly departments with receiving, picking, shipping, inventory control, and light assembly of parts and components.

**Your Accountabilities in the Role**:
A. Janitorial (50%)
- Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
- Clean breakroom surfaces and kitchen appliances; restock supplies.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum building floors.
- Wipe down office tables, chairs, desks, and all other furniture.
- Clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces
- Dust office equipment such as computer monitors, TV screens, and printers.
- Organize supply closet and maintain inventory of supplies / tools needed for cleaning.
- Empty waste bins and recycling bins
- Notify Supervisor concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.
- Follows safety rules and takes necessary precautions when utilizing cleaning chemicals.

B. Receiving, Shipping, and Inventory Control (25%)
- Operates powered industrial truck to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas into trucks and containers.
- Performs picking/packing of parts and preparation of pallets, boxes and packaging to ensure safety and quality of materials and goods for transport.
- Handles the basic receiving and/or shipping of the various materials/products in an efficient and accurate way, following documented procedures.
- Confirms the count and quality of material and products being received or shipped to ensure integrity, inventory control, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Prepares and completes necessary paperwork and PC entries to ensure efficient, on-time delivery, inventory levels, and accurate data in the systems.
- Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards. Handles the warranty/return of product, following the documented processes.
- Communicates discrepancies to appropriate employees and vendors so that the issues can be resolved quickly.
- Performs daily equipment checks on the forklift and other equipment ensuring batteries are charged and equipment is safe for use in accordance with company policies.
- Supports the team and other areas for the success of the business.

C. Assembly (25%)
- Responsible for reading, and understanding schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents.
- Set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions of the supervisor.
- To assemble parts or components to build systems for customers.
- To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications.
- Preforms cutting and bending of aluminum pipe to specification in a safe and accurate manner.

**Position Requirements**:

- Education: High School diploma, or equivalent; will consider a combination of course work and direct work experience
- Experience: 1 year Janitorial or Custodial experience in a commercial environment. Forklift experience a preferred, but not required. Light hand tools
- Certification: Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operators license. Ability to pass forklift training and obtain certification through Truma.
- Functional Skills: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, good math skills with a strong sense of urgency required; strong ability to prioritize and multi-task several projects well; ability to problem-solve and execute solutions in a timely way is also key.
- Technical Aptitude/PC/Other: Basic skills in Microsoft Office and data systems required.
- Language Skills: Good communication skills (written and verbal) to work with external vendors, customers, and internal team members at all various levels.
- Leadership/Behaviors: Self-directed and motivated to handle all tasks efficiently; Strong customer focus and requires someone who is responsive, flexible and can work well under pressure to meet the work demands and timelines as needed.
