We are currently hiring for Forklift Operators / Material Handlers
Forklift Operator / Material Handler Job Summary:
  • 1st and 2nd shift available depending on client.
  • Overtime required as needed
  • $17+ per hour
  • Temp to hire
Forklift Operator / Material Handler General Duties:
The Forklift Operator / Material Handler will operate forklift in moving materials and product in any area of the plant. Must be familiar with material and product and the locations in their storage areas. Responsible for performing work in a quality manner and producing a quality product.
  • Operate a forklift, hand dolly, or mechanical lift
  • Ability to understand and complete all necessary functions of the operation of inventory management bar code system related to the movement of material throughout the warehouse
  • Perform work in the following areas: receiving, staging, general warehouse, line supply, shipping and clean up.
  • Receiving - unloading, identifying, and counting all incoming components
  • General warehouse - correctly ticket and properly placing components in the warehouse location
  • Staging - moving components from warehouse and/or shuttles to the desired area
  • Shipping - moving palletized finished goods from the production area and properly loading goods on trailer
Forklift Operator / Material Handler Qualifications:
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift, hand dolly, or mechanical lift
  • Ability to stand and move as needed to perform job duties for length of shift.
