**Position Description**

**Roles/Responsibilities**
- Exchange Server Management
- Install, configure, and maintain MS Exchange Server environments.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform regular backups and restoration of Exchange database.
- User Management
- Manage user accounts, mailboxes, distribution groups, and permissions.
- Security
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments of the Exchange environment.
- Collaboration and Support
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the Exchange environment, including configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Generate reports on system performance, usage, and security incidents.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for routine tasks and incident response.

**Qualifications**
- High school/GED required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing MS Exchange Server environments.
- Certification in Microsoft Exchange Server or related technologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Exchange Server 2016/2019 and Office 365.
- Strong understanding of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing tasks.
- Location: Washington DC (on site)
- Veteran Preference: Yes
- Citizenship/Security: Citizen/Green Card. Must be able to hold a federal security clearance.
