**Position Overview**

The Supply Chain Coordinator has ownership of placing orders, receiving shipments, and maintaining product inventory levels. This role is also responsible for coordinating deliveries of supplies across campus and providing exceptional customer service to staff and residents. Supply Chain Coordinator is an active position that involves walking throughout a large campus, lifting boxes and light computer work.

The position reports to the Sr. Supply Chain Manager

- Receives and distributes equipment, supplies and other materials. Ensures cost effective purchasing through comparative product pricing. Creates and places orders for tools and supplies used across campus.
- Manages inventory levels for specified product categories.
- Orders minor equipment as needed.
- Organizes procurement cycles, maintains adequate levels of supply inventory and monitors supply usage.
- Receives and verifies all incoming merchandise for quantity, quality and price accuracy and resolves variances.
- Serves as point for all incoming material/supplies and communication with staff regarding the delivery of their items.
- Maintains an up-to-date supply database. Documents and enters nursing department and resident use of supplies, new products and prices, and all related changes into purchasing system (WorkPlace).
- Demonstrates0 proficient knowledge of basic receiving, purchasing procedures and regulations, including dangerous goods and receiving precautions.
- Processes orders in an efficient manner to adhere to minimum order requirements.
- Works with vendors, Oakwood staff, and finance team to review monthly billings for rented medical equipment and supplies, monthly resident usage of chargeable supplies, and any other tasks needed to insure timely reporting of supplies and equipment usage.
- Works with Supply Chain Team on regular projects to monitor costs, product usage and needs of staff and residents.
- Distributes/delivers supplies to appropriate areas of Oakwood.
- Builds vendor relationships, manage returns, and maintain vendor files.
- Organizes effectively to stock and organize inventory.
- Participates in annual inventory with Supply Chain Team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND/OR TRAINING**

- Basic Microsoft Office product experience (Outlook, Excel, Word, and MS Teams)
