**You’ll Get To**:

- Responsible for operating the facility independently
- Provide support to families in shelter
- Prepare and serve meals to families in shelter
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the facility
- Provide transportation for families using agency van to and from host sites
- Document family files and case notes
- Assist in data entry and program follow up reports
- Assist and coordinate in-kind donations with families and partner agencies
- Demonstrates the ability to work with a culturally diverse population
- Provides support with Family Promise special events as needed
- Assess inventory of basic need items on-site and restock items as needed
- Gather and disperse food and clothing donations to families
- Build and support relationships with donors
- Bachelor degree preferred, equivalent work experience considered
- Valid driver’s license
- Supportive of our organizational mission and of faith-based initiatives and programming
- Ability to work all shifts, as needed to support the operations of the shelter
- Volunteer experience with non-profits preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team. Must be able to work well with colleagues, board members, and volunteers.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to execute flawlessly on projects in a fast-paced, often pressured environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Gmail/google drive.
- Lifting of materials of up to 40 pounds may be necessary
- Weekend and Evening Shifts may be required
