Service Operations Manager

The Service Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure the department's growth and profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Service Department, including actively scheduling and dispatching work orders to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and maintain acceptable levels of applied time, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
- Serve as the primary contact for all service-related phone calls, providing technical support.
- Estimate and quote in-house repairs, purchase necessary repair parts or components, and schedule assembly time upon approval.
- Assist with overflow service work when necessary, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Bill out shop and field service projects accurately and promptly.
- Maintain quality control on repairs and professional appearance of all shop service work
- Contribute to the training and development of service personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Foster a teamwork attitude among service personnel and all other company employees, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Maintain an acceptable shop appearance, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
**Skills/Qualifications**:
- Fluid Power Degree or Equivalent Experience; Strong Mechanical Background; Hydraulic Background Preferred; Hydraulic Cylinder, Pump, Motor, Valve Repair
- Highly Motivated Self-starter with a passion for excellence
- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills (verbal & written)
- Proficient with Planning and Organization
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
