Tech Tag & Label, a growing label manufacturer, is seeking an experienced label press operator to join our production team. The position consists of operating a flexographic or digital printing press. This is a full-time position, day shift, that will involve working a 4 day / 10 hour per day work week. Enjoy three-day weekends or take advantage of Friday overtime is available.
Responsibilities include by not limited to:
Adhere to all company safety and quality control procedures.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Set-up and operate a press following the job jacket instructions.
Breakdown and clean-up the job once it's completed and prepare for the next job.
Maintain consistent quality during the production run, performing critical quality checks to ensure successful completion of each job,
Requirements and qualifications include:
Detailed oriented along with excellent organizational skills.
Read and interpret work instructions, safety guidelines, job instructions, and other work-related material.
Perform basic math skills, read a ruler and operate calipers.
Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve both production and equipment issues.
High school diploma or GED.
One or more years' experience in the label industry.
