**CACI is currently hiring a Media Specialist - 3D Animator Jr **for our Ready Relevant Learning(RRL) program. This position will be **based onsite in Norfolk VA.**
**_NOTE: Examples of your work will be required pre-interview._**
**What You’ll Get to Do**:
You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and creating innovative 3D media elements for the training developed under the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning effort for the Fire Controlman Aegis (FC(A)). Tasks will include creating 3D animations and complex objects. You must have experience using Autodesk 3D Max. Duties may include planning, designing, and preparation of 3D media elements, as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designs to the training team.
**More About the Role**:
- Review Government Furnished Information.
- Review all training content and provide input to Instructional Designers.
- Support design meetings with SMEs and Instructional Designers.
- Create 3D still images and complex animations for use in Unity.
- Collaborate with other designers to ensure a consistent user experience.
**You’ll Bring These Qualifications**:
- ** Secret-level clearance required.**
- BS/BA degree and 0-3 years’ experience.
- Experience with Autodesk 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder).
- Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.
- Strong knowledge of concepts and tools including:
- 3D Animation - 3D modeling, sculpting, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering.
- Motion Graphics - 2D/3D animated microlearning videos or assets. Building animated content from scratch.
- Graphic Design - Image manipulation, illustration, page layout, typography.
- Video and Audio editing/production: cutting, splicing, compositing.
**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have**:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- General understanding of SCORM and Learning Management Systems.
