Bookkeeper/office Assistant

Job Overview:
We are looking for a full time Bookkeeper/Office Assistant to join our team. This is a casual office environment but run professionally, by great people that care about their employees
**Responsibilities**:
- Overseeing accounts receivable, collections, payables
- Preparing financial statements, general journal entries
- Bank reconciliation
- Month end closing process, sales tax and use tax reporting
- Processing weekly payroll
- Credit card reconciliation and entering customer payments
- Cross train in other office functions or processes as needed
- Provide additional clerical support, including but not limited to answering phones and scheduling appointments
- Registering equipment, warranty purchasing
Qualifications:
- 5 years of bookkeeping and administrative office experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, Quickbooks and Excel
- Outstanding customer service attitude
- Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and bookkeeping principles
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within established time schedules
- Reliable, well organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively
Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
