**Banquet Operations Manager**

Chatham Hills is an exclusive Residential and Pete Dye Golf Course Community in Westfield, Indiana. The Club at Chatham Hills offers modern, state-of-the-art amenities in an upscale setting while delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. The Club offers an 18-hole Championship Golf Course, 9-hole Executive Golf Course, incredible golf practice facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, tennis & pickleball, private events/banquet facilities, two-story Rec Center with fitness center (and group fitness classes), drop-in childcare, basketball gym and bowling alley.

The Chatham Hills Club Event Operations Manager provides an exceptional member & guest experience through high service standards, knowledge of all Event processes, and ensures a safe, clean & fun environment.**

An Event Operations Manager at Chatham Hills oversees all moving parts in the execution of all club events. This person is knowledgeable in all facets of the Event Operations: Event Setup, Training & Staffing, Execution of Events, and Weddings, Private & Social Events.

This person understands and executes opening, mid and closing duties depending on scheduled time in and out based on club events. This individual is responsible for ensuring high service standards with our membership: being friendly, helpful, prompt and paying close attention to detail. This individual reports to the Event & Sales Director.

This position is a full-time position. Applicant must be willing to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Manage day-to-day operations of banquets/catering in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Works closely with the Event Sales Director & Social Events Manager to set up and oversee all events at the Club.
- Communicate with the host's day of events to ensure all needs are met.
- Assist in managing staffing levels and shift assignments, assisting in hiring and training banquet team members. Develops and holds the team accountable to standards.
- Train, manage, and lead all banquet staff to ensure successful event execution.
- Ensure all banquet spaces are clean, organized and set up for success
- Suggest ideas to improve banquet operations.
- Review room setups/diagrams are functional for event attendees and service staff.
- Resolve small issues with Members and staff professionally.
- Ensure overall Member satisfaction is met and exceeded.
- Regular attendance at all BEO Meetings, catering meetings and attendance when required at Food and Beverage Meetings.
- Stay through the second course of any food function, unless authorized in advance by Director of Sales and Events
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor and image of self and Chatham Hills based upon club branding guidance and Chatham Hills Management standards.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Thorough knowledge of service flow and capabilities in all event areas.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication with both clients & team
- Attendance for all club events, unless authorized by Director of Sales & Events
- Able to work independently and to cover all shifts as needed, including weekend and evening hours
- Strong Multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language fluently to interact with clients/members/guests.
- Ability to anticipate, analyze member needs and implement solutions
- Able to work under time constraints and high-pressure situations

**Compensation & Benefits**

$45K-50K (based on experience), PTO + health benefits offered

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
