**Summary of Position**: As a Social Media Manager for La Vida Hospitality Group, you are a storyteller and self-starter who takes initiative and proactively introduces fresh ideas. You must be well organized, detail-oriented, with an analytical mind and a creative spirit that wields social media as a powerful way to connect to the La Vida Brands’ audience and beyond. You have the ability to turn ideas into attention-grabbing posts by mixing text, images, video and authentic interaction with our fans with the goal of inviting new populations into the brand lifestyles while also engaging our loyal followers. As part of the centralized La Vida Team, this position is collaborative in nature and should work well with the La Vida Creative team, as well as the rest of the marketing unit, reporting to the Creative Director. **Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Management: Big Chill & Taco Reho**_
- Collaborate with the team to develop and execute a consistent strategy around promoting the brands listed above across multiple social media channels (to be defined per brand)
- Collaborate with various team members including LV Marketing Director, LV Creative Director, Brand Managers, Graphic Designers, and Marketing Coordinators to execute on strategic plans, messaging and accuracy of information
- Maintain cultural awareness, communicating the values and voice of Big Chill (BC) and Taco Reho (TR) with all online interactions and messaging
- Community management across multiple social platforms, responding to and interacting with our community in a positive and helpful manner
- Interact with booked talent, partners and friends of BC and TR to execute social promotion with full accuracy
- Consult BC and TR Brand Managers and LV Digital Marketing Manager on digital marketing content strategy and trends to drive brand awareness and growth
- Collaborate with BC and TR Brand Managers on strategy + spending of paid content
- Manage digital ad strategy as it applies to social media channels; track & manage performance to share with brand leaders, allocate & track budget managed by Brand Manager or Brand Director
- Engage with customers & followers; responding to comments; responding to reviews on social & communicating to the correct teammates about positive or negative experiences at the unit level
- Analyze customer expectations based on past social media activity; monitoring digital engagement metrics
- **Content Creation - All La Vida Brands**_
- Development, maintenance, and communication of content calendar for BC and TR with a 3-4 week outlook
- Create and manage content across multiple platforms including: Instagram, Facebook (local & brand pages), TikTok, and more, as they become relevant
- Responsible for creating content for BC and TR; and will be asked to assist in content creation across all remaining LVH brands on a project to project basis
- Collect and create content from existing collection of photo and video assets to create fresh posts that drive online engagement, drive sales initiatives and increase event attendance
- Media asset management: Assist marketing team in organizing and managing assets including photo, and video media across all La Vida Hospitality brands
- Be an expert of the BC and TR Brand Voice; creating content copy for social media
- Create new content to fit strategic and creative intentions, and cultural moments
- Live the brand & be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of professional content curation and social media marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of social media platforms
- Strong ability to capture, edit and deliver high quality creative content (text, photo and video)
- A strong understanding of marketing and social media strategies
- Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences
- Experience managing a brand level social media strategy (paid & organic)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong ability to multitask while staying organized and on track with timelines
- Critical thinking & creative problem solving
