We are currently seeking an experienced Contract Specialist

The responsibilities for this Contract Specialist position include:

- Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting various client contract agreements including non-disclosure agreements, master service agreements, and large engineering services contracts.
- Negotiating the terms and conditions within client contracts, non-disclosure agreements, joint venture agreements, etc.
- Working with clients in a professional manner.
- Establishing rapport and working relationships with high levels of management.
- Performing special assignments or projects as required.

**This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in our Wilmington, North Carolina office and working remotely from home**.**

Qualifications:
This position requires:

- Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a business, insurance, engineering, or law.
- 7+ years of experience with drafting and negotiating of legal contract terms and conditions.
- 7+ years of experience with contract reviews; including the interpretation and analyzation of concepts to align our corporate risk profile.
- Detail orientated, schedule driven, and well-organized with strong ability to manage numerous projects and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions.
- Ability to make educated judgement calls, solve problems, and take initiatives necessary to perform job functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently, and professionally within all levels of the company regarding complex issues.
- Knowledgeable regarding corporate insurance programs within professional services, engineering, and/or construction industries.
- Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contractual matters.
- Team player and self-starter with ability to complete projects on schedule.
- Federal Government contracting knowledge is a plus.
- May be required to travel on an occasional basis.
