**PURPOSE**:
The purpose of this position is to assist the Field Operations Manager in the assignment and execution of all field service work including the recruiting and training of all field service personnel including field superintendents, service techs and installers.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**:

- Review the design, layout and dimensions of all model homes and coordinate the delivery and installation of product
- Assist in the assignment of the field service work of field superintendents, service technicians, and contract workers in meeting and/or exceeding job completion, just-in-time deliveries and installations, and service policy goals
- Support the builder center team in the review of operations processes to ensure efficient operations of the builder center including builder sign-off's and special projects such as transportation or outside vendor issues
- Service as first point of contact for conflict resolution, such as, dealing with customer and regulatory agency issues
- Assist in the recruitment, development and retention of a qualified operations team to service builder center needs
- Train all field service personnel to operate in compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulatory agencies
- Enforce compliance with company financial policies concerning general liability and workers' compensation insurance for field service contract workers
- Perform field service work as needed

**SUPERVISES**:
This position is responsible for the supervision of all field service workers including field superintendents, service techs and contract workers in the builder center.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required.

**Education and/or Experience**
- Minimum of a high school diploma with certificate from a technical or trade school related to the building materials industry, education beyond high school a plus
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of field experience i.e., cabinet installation, service, order entry and delivery Scheduling, and managing subcontractors
- Ability to develop and maintain effective business relationships with building superintendents and subcontractors
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft products
- Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills

**Language Skills**:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients in an effort to carry out responsibilities or respond to common inquires from customers/clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and public.

**Mathematical Skills**:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret graphs and diagrams.

**Reasoning Ability**:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and walk; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**:
Typical office and construction site environment. The noise level is usually moderate to high. Significant travel around town with some out-of-town travel. Occasional weekend work and extended evening hours is required.
